Stork is Emerson College's only strictly fiction literary magazine. We publish two issues each school year, a short-short issue (stories of four pages or fewer), and a longer issue (stories of five to thirty pages). All submissions are read by our staff and receive critical feedback. We value stories that, while they may be short in length, leave a lasting impression.

Stork Magazine: Spring 2025 Flash Fiction Submissions will be open starting January 10th and will close on February 1st at 11:59 pm. We accept flash fiction of any genre. Stories must be between 1 and 4 pages (12 pt, double-spaced). Please, do NOT include your name anywhere in the submission or the title, as we keep all authors anonymous during workshops. PDF is greatly preferred.
If you are planning on submitting multiple works, please submit them all as separate submissions.
